THE YALE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS ASSOCIATION

Yale MUN Singapore is a constituent program of the Yale International Relations Association. Founded in 1969, the Yale International Relations Association (YIRA) is the largest student organization on Yale's campus, with an active membership of 300+ students and thousands of alumni. YIRA aims to promote debate and awareness of international relations and global affairs through a number of unique programs. These include a global education program, Hemispheres, aimed at high schools in the New Haven area; the Yale Review of International Studies; a series of well-renowned speakers and international trips; and several conferences in cities across the world, including Seoul, Taiwan, and Budapest.
