Anna Calkins
Secretary-General
Anna (she/her) is a junior in Morse College from Chicago, IL, pursuing a degree in Cognitive Science with certificates in Spanish Language and Education Studies. She has been involved with MUN since the 8th grade, both competing and helping run her high school's annual conference and, at Yale, having been involved with YMUN, YMUN Europe, and YMUN Singapore. It is an absolute honor for her to serve as the Secretary General of YMUNS 2026! She thoroughly enjoyed serving as DG Committees last year and is thrilled to be returning. At Yale, she is a member of the women's water polo team, an intramural secretary and referee, and the chair of her residential college council. When not in class or at any of these activities, you can find her reading, walking around New Haven, or playing bananagrams. Julia Rosado
Director-General of Operations
Julia (she/her) is a junior in Morse College hailing from the far-away city of New Haven, Connecticut. Passionate about the intersection of culture and technology, she is pursuing an Anthropology major with certificates in Mandarin and Computing, Culture & Society. Julia is delighted to return to Singapore after a wonderful experience serving as USG Outreach for last year’s conference! Outside of YMUNS, Julia is involved in women’s water polo and Amoriem Labs. Other than that, she dabbles in reading, writing, video games, and taking walks. She’s ecstatic to meet delegates in March and welcomes any and all questions at dg.operations@ymuns.org.

Annie Gu
Director-General of Committees
Annie (she/her) is a junior in Pauli Murray College from Edison, NJ. She is majoring in Applied Mathematics and Political Science, anticipating to receive an Advanced Chinese Language Certificate. Outside of the classroom, she can be found doing research with the Department of Economics, volunteering with CodeHaven, or cooking up a plate with Asian Recipes at Yale. She has been involved in Model United Nations for the past seven years as a delegate, chair, and organizer. At Yale, she has served as the Under-Secretary General of Committees for YMUN Latin America and YMUN Singapore, and was also a chair for YMUN 50, 51, and 52. Andy Lam
Under-Secretary-General of Branding
Andy (he/him) is a junior in Silliman College from New Jersey majoring in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry with a concentration in Structural Biology. He’s super excited to return this year, bringing the visual identity of YMUNS to life as co-USG of Branding! On campus, you can find him rehearsing with Yale’s K-pop dance group Movement, playing the cello with the Davenport Pops Orchestra, or whipping up milkshakes as manager for the Silliman buttery. When he’s not busy researching cardiovascular diseases at the Yale School of Medicine, Andy enjoys drawing outdoors, playing the guitar, cooking, and learning how to make new balloon animals for his friends. Johan Zongo
Under-Secretary-General of Branding
Johan Zongo (he/him) is an undergraduate student at Yale University, majoring in Global Affairs and Art. With Burkinabè and Ghanaian roots, Johan is passionate about global initiatives that empower different communities through sustainable development and inclusive growth. At Yale, he is the co-founder of Bright Spaces, a mural painting organization that aims to foster development through creativity and innovation. He is interested in international law, diplomacy, human rights and the use of art as a medium for public service. He is excited to meet all the delegates. Lauren Kim
Under-Secretary-General of Delegations
Lauren Kim (she/her) is a sophomore in Silliman College from Michigan, and she aspires to double major in Applied Math and Global Affairs. Outside of YMUN, Lauren is a member of Danceworks and works for the Silliman Buttery, serving up the best late-night foods. Lauren loves spending time at the pottery studio, crocheting, going on walks to new cafés, and eating good food with friends whenever she can. She also loves being active (golf, ski, pilates, pickleball, dance, etc.) and is a coffee and matcha enthusiast! Bena Feng
Under-Secretary-General of Delegations
Bena (she/her) is a freshman in Silliman College from sunny Southern California considering a major in Global Affairs with a Chinese language certificate. Outside YMUNS, she hosts events with the Chinese Program and will be staffing YMUN LII in January! In her free time, you can find her climbing long staircases, ringing small bells and big bells, and hopping between language tables during meals. She also likes trying different snacks and looking at nature. She’s thrilled to be serving as a co-USG Delegations and looks forward to becoming a familiar name in email communication! Kate Foglesong

Kate (she/her) is a junior in Branford College from Atlanta, Georgia, and she is majoring in Ethics, Politics, & Economics and Spanish. She has really enjoyed being a part of YMUN during her time at Yale and has had the opportunity to be involved in YMUN 50, YMUN LI, YMUN Latin America, YMUN Korea, and YMUN Singapore, which have been amazing experiences so far. At Yale, she is also involved in the Yale Undergraduate Consulting Group, and she really enjoys running, swimming, and trying new restaurants! She loves Model UN because she has gotten to meet incredible people from all over the world and has learned a lot about so many important issues. Jack Ludwick
Under-Secretary-General of Committees
Jack (he/him) is a sophomore in Grace Hopper College from Charlotte, North Carolina majoring in Global Affairs and Religious Studies. Jack is very involved in the YMUN world, serving on YMUN LI, YMUN Korea, YMUN LII, and now YMUN Singapore! He is also involved in the Yale International Relations Association as the Alumni Director. On campus, Jack is involved in the Sophomore Class Council, a member of the Yale Curling Team, and the Outreach Chair for St. Thomas More, the Catholic center on campus. In his free time, Jack enjoys watching college football, playing guitar, and going on hikes. Jack is a huge country music fan and his favorite artists are Luke Combs, Tyler Childers, and Evan Honer. Rafael Sousa
Under-Secretary-General of Logistics
Rafael (he/him) is a junior in Morse College from Massachusetts studying Global Affairs with certificates in French and German language. He has chaired for YMUN Latin America in São Paulo, Brazil, YMUN conferences in New Haven, CT as well as having the honor of chairing at last year's iteration of YMUN Singapore! On campus, he does research through the Jackson School of Global Affairs, tutors fellow Yalies in Portuguese, Spanish and French, and leads European Horizons, a campus policy-incubator focused on the transatlantic relationship. Rafael loves the outdoors, travelling, language learning, and trying new foods! He had an amazing experience at YMUNS last year and is excited to return to a new cohort of inspiring students in 2026! Alwis Lim

Alwis (he/him) is a freshman in Branford College from Singapore planning on studying Computer Science and Economics. He is excited for his first ever experience with the MUN community! Back home, Alwis is heavily involved with youth empowerment and digital education efforts, enjoying connecting communities and people. On campus, Alwis does Club Squash and enjoys exploring all that New Haven has to offer. Ishmeet Dhillon
Chair
Ishmeet Dhillon is a sophomore studying Political Science and History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health on the pre-law track. Her academic and extracurricular interests revolve around the intersection of political science, law, and public health. She has been involved with Model UN since middle school and is excited to bring YMUN to Singapore! Ishmeet is involved in numerous other activities as well, including the Global Health Review, Yale Policy Institute, Yale Model United Nations, Women's Leadership Initiative, Yale Jashan Bhangra, and Yale Sikhs. At YMUN Singapore, she will be serving as Chair for World Health Organization. Outside of her studies, she loves singing, spending time with loved ones, exploring cuisines, and learning new skills. Jesse McCormick
Chair
Jesse is a sophomore in Berkeley College from Montana planning on studying Global Affairs. He has been involved with MUN and debate since high school, but this is his first time traveling internationally with YMUN, and he can't wait! Elsewhere on campus, Jesse is involved with the debate team as a tournament organizer, and the best student job…the admissions office! He loves to play pickleball, watch tennis, and record his life on Goodreads, Letterbox, and Beli. He is thrilled to be chairing and is looking forward to meeting all the delegates this spring! James Kim
Chair
James is a sophomore in Timothy Dwight College, originally from Prosper, Texas, majoring in Economics and earning a certificate in Spanish. He first got involved with Model UN as a Director for YMUN Korea and is excited for this new opportunity to be involved in YMUN Singapore. On campus, he spends the beginning of his school year leading first year students on backpacking trips through New England as a FOOT leader. When he’s not on campus, you’ll probably find him outdoors–climbing 14ers in Colorado, backpacking the Appalachian Trail, or exploring a new national park. James loves traveling, cooking, and trying new foods (he’s also a very dedicated Beli reviewer). Jana Abualhuda
Chair
Jana (she/her) is a freshman in Trumbull College from Chicago, Illinois. She plans to major in Cognitive Science with a certificate in Arabic. She has been involved in Model UN for the past four years and is so excited to be joining YMUN Singapore as a chair this year! At Yale, Jana serves as the Conference Director for the Yale Women’s Leadership Initiative, researches with the Yale Policy Institute, and dances with the Yale Dabke team. Outside of school, she loves to travel, hunt for the best matcha and café spots, and go to concerts—she’s been to nine so far! Model UN has given her some of her favorite memories and friendships, and she can’t wait to meet everyone in Singapore. José Maria Salvador
Chair
José (he/him) is a sophomore from Monterrey, México in Silliman College. He is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Philosophy with a concentration in Psychology. Outside academics, José works as a Software Developer for Yale College, and does research with the quantum computing team. In his spare time, José enjoys scaling colorful walls alongside the rock climbing team, as well as playing guitar. He has been participating in MUN conferences since he was in middle school, and is now thrilled to be able to help in chairing one of the crisis committees at YMUNS!
