Secretary-General

Alwis Lim is a Sophomore in Branford College from Singapore. He is currently pursuing Global Affairs and is considering a double major in Computer Science. Outside of YMUNS, Alwis is on the board for the Malaysian and Singaporean Students Association and fences with the Yale Fencing Team. In his free time, he hosts Mahjong nights in his suite, and enjoys hotpot on special occasions. Alwis previously served as a USG (Outreach) for YMUNS 2026, and as a Vice Chair for YMUN LII. He is thrilled to be leading the conference in his home country this run and cannot wait to introduce everyone to his favorite Salted Egg dishes. Director-General of Operations

Jesse McCormick is a junior in Berkeley College from Missoula, MT. He is currently studying Global Affairs with a certificate in Education Studies at Yale University. Outside of YMUNS, Jesse is a Recruitment Coordinator for the Undergraduate Office of Admissions, a Consent and Community Educator, and a member of the Yale Debate Association. In his free time you can find him watching tennis, playing pickleball, working his way through his ever-growing reading list, and exploring new restaurants in New Haven. Jesse has previously served as a Chair for YMUNS 2026 and YMUN LIII, as the USG of Delegations for YMUN South Asia 2026, and as a Director for YIRLC-Japan 2026. He’s thrilled to bring yet another distinctly Singaporean experience to the delegates in Singapore. Director-General of Committees

Jack is a junior in Grace Hopper College from Charlotte, North Carolina majoring in Global Affairs and Religious Studies with a certificate in Medieval Studies. Jack is very involved in the YMUN world, serving on the secretariats for YMUN LI, YMUN Korea, YMUN LII, YMUN LIII, and now YMUN Singapore. He is also involved in the Yale International Relations Association as the Vice President. On campus, Jack is involved in the Junior Class Council, a member of the Yale Curling Team, President of St. Thomas More, the Catholic center on campus, and involved in Teatro de Yale and the Thomistic Institute. In his free time, Jack enjoys watching college football, playing guitar, and going on hikes. Jack is a huge country music fan and his favorite artists are Luke Combs, Tyler Childers, and Evan Honer. Iverlyn Alicon (she/her) is a junior from Los Angeles, California, studying Electrical Engineering with a certificate in Korean. Outside of YMUNS, Iverlyn is involved in Yale’s Bulldog Racing, SheCodes, Latinas Women At Yale, in undergraduate research at the Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science, and works at Payne Whitney Gymnasium. In her free time, she enjoys creating and curating playlists across multiple genres (currently totaling twenty, spanning Spanish, Korean, Russian, classical music, and more), going on spontaneous trips, and playing games with family and friends. She also loves exploring nature, late-night beach bonfires, and collecting public transportation cards from everywhere she has traveled. Ashley Raffaeli (she/her) is a junior in Pauli Murray College from Covina, California, just outside of Los Angeles, and she is double majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Anthropology. Her family is originally from Argentina. On the pre-medical track, Ashley is involved in research with two labs at the Yale School of Medicine. Ashley is one of five sisters, which means her house was never quiet growing up! A fun fact about her: she has gotten four head injuries over the years, adding up to a grand total of 25 stitches on her forehead, so you could say she has been gaining clinical experience since childhood. Maydeline Davidson is a junior from Indonesia in Benjamin Franklin College, studying Computer Science and Economics at Yale University. Outside of YMUNS, Maydeline is a Gallery Guide at the Yale University Art Gallery, a Research Assistant at the Yale School of Medicine, and a member of the undergraduate council at St. Thomas More. In her free time, you can find her cafe-hopping with friends, playing different instruments, and building side projects. She loves world history and philosophy, and speaks five languages (plus a few programming ones). Eva Nguyen (she/her) is a freshman prospectively majoring in Global Affairs. Residing in Silliman, the best residential college, she takes deep pride in being a Sillimander! She hails from South Jersey where she works on electoral reform issues. She is extremely interested in proportional representation systems around the world and loves exploring alternative voting systems. Outside of YMUN, she loves going to concerts, playing tennis, and trying new ice cream flavors (mint-chocolate chip is her favorite)! Jana (she/her) is a sophomore in Saybrook College from Chicago, Illinois. She’s excited to serve as USG of Committees for YMUN Singapore! Within the YMUN circuit, Jana previously served as a Director for YMUN Singapore and is currently the Secretary-General of YMUN Türkiye, USG of Committees for YMUN Korea, and USG of External Affairs for YMUN LIII. Outside of MUN, Jana is the President of the Middle Eastern and North African Student Association, and she dances with Yale Dabke! In her free time, you can find her café hopping around New Haven (current obsession is banana bread matcha) or having movie nights with friends. Nyera Ali is a first-year student in Morse College from Little Rock, Arkansas. She is currently majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology as well as Global Affairs. Outside of YMUNS, Nyera is an Associate Editor for The Politic, a First-Year Liaison for the Morse College Council, and a volunteer with a few local nursing homes and clinics. In her free time, you can find her grabbing a matcha or coffee, going on a run, or watching a movie/reading a book somewhere cozy. Nyera is so excited to serve as USG of Committees for YMUNS 2027 and looks forward to meeting everyone in Singapore this coming spring! Jenney (she/her) is a rising sophomore in Branford College from New York City studying Economics and Data Science. She currently serves as a director for YMUNK XIV, and is excited to join YMUNS 2027 as the USG of Conference and Events. At Yale, Jenney works with the Dwight Hall Socially Responsible Investment Fund, practices with Club Squash, and performs with Danceworks. In her free time, she loves to create clothes for her stuffed animals, explore frozen yogurt shops, and design intricate press-on nails. Alyssa Vargas is a junior in Ezra Stiles College from Yorktown, VA. She is currently studying Economics at Yale University. Outside of YMUNS, Alyssa is the Deputy Director of the Yale Undergraduate Funding Committee under the Yale College Council and a member of the Yale Undergraduate Hedge Fund Association. In her free time, you can find her making charcuterie boards, golfing with friends, and reading fantasy novels. She is thrilled to serve as the USG of Outreach for YMUNS and cannot wait to try all of the food Singapore has to offer. Talia Philip is a sophomore in Benjamin Franklin College from Austin, Texas. She is majoring in Global Affairs with a certificate in Human Rights. Outside of YMUNS, Talia is DG of Operations for YMUN Brasil, USG of General Assemblies for YMUN LIII on campus, and Political Chair for South Asian Society. Talia grew up all over the place; in fact, she was born and spent 7 years living in Singapore! She loves trying new foods and traveling, and is more than halfway to her goal of 50 countries by the time she's 25. Noah Allen is a sophomore in Berkeley College from North Branford, Connecticut (just 15 minutes outside of Yale's campus!), currently studying Global Affairs with a Spanish Certificate. Noah is incredibly excited to serve on his first YMUN Secretariat as a Director for YMUNS 2027 and looks forward to helping delegates make the most of their conference experience! Outside of YMUNS, Noah is a Berkeley College Aide and is heavily involved with theater at Yale as a stage manager. In his free time, you can find him exploring New Haven or hiking up East Rock Park. Campbell (he/him) is a sophomore in Benjamin Franklin College from Las Vegas, Nevada, majoring in Environmental Studies and Ethnicity, Race & Migrations with a certificate in Native American and Indigenous Studies. Outside of class, he's a member and publicity chair for Yaledancers, a fashion design chair for MAISON, a volunteer coordinator for the Urban Resources Initiative, and a costume designer for the Yale Drageret! Some fun facts about Campbell are that he toured around the U.S. for two years as a dancer, and in his free time, he loves to make art, go on long hikes, eat good poke, and read memoirs. Joseph (he/him) is a sophomore in Pauli Murray College from Southern California, majoring in Environmental Studies and Political Science. On campus, he is a Research Assistant at the Planetary Solutions Lab and the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, works at the Office of Sustainability, and serves as a Case Team Lead for Global Strategy Consulting. In his free time, Joseph enjoys long-distance running, obstacle course races, rating restaurants and cafés on Beli (top 1% diner…), and taking weekend trips with friends. Raelle (she/her) is a freshman in Ezra Stiles College hoping to pursue a major in Cognitive Science! Originally from Irvine, California, she has a strong penchant for well-made matcha and iced teas. Outside of YMUNS, Raelle is also an ASG of Branding for YMUN LIII, a Business Manager for the Yale College Council, and a member of the Stiles Student Activities Committee. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and hiking. She is beyond thrilled to serve as a Director for YMUN Singapore this year and cannot wait to meet all of the wonderful delegates!
