YMUN Singapore will recognize exemplary delegates in each committee with committee awards. The three categories of awards are: Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Honorable Mention. When designating awards, chairs are instructed to holistically evaluate all delegates for their contributions in committee. 

There will be no “point system” or explicit evaluative criteria for these awards. Rather, YMUN Singapore would like to acknowledge delegates who demonstrate the mission of the conference to encourage debate and diplomacy, while also promoting personal and professional growth. Chairs will be looking out for delegates’ leadership and ability to enrich debate. 

Delegates should contribute to creating a supportive and empowering atmosphere, while bringing a unique and forward-thinking perspective to the debate. We also seek to acknowledge delegates who demonstrate exceptional adaptability and growth throughout the conference.
